signant health is looking for a dynamic and customer centric senior it project manager. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of projects and transformation initiatives that span across one or more business units. Responsible for managing resource, risks, issues, change requests and adhere to stage gate quality processes throughout the entire lifecycle, including post implementation monitoring. This includes contributing to the assessment and prioritization of it business transformation projects accompanied by comprehensive project plans.
In this role you have the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case

*key accountabilities*:
- manage a portfolio of complex projects/initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business.
- drive it initiatives: collate initiatives, prioritize projects, lead the implementation.
- own the business cases and project lifecycles, including the post completion monitoring period; monitor and report on the roi.
- lead it enterprise system implementation and product enhancements for the operational teams and that prepares for, supports, and enables delivery of product advancements into the service delivery business.
- understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
- report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities.
- manage project scope and changes.
- monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverable.
- provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across teams and leadership levels.
- participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the it organization.
*decision making and influence*:
- senior project manager has responsibility for delivering on it business programs including both existing product advancement and release enablement, and strategic programs aimed at improving operational delivery and cost basis.
- this position will monitor progress of active initiatives and will prioritize deliverables. As such this position will direct the work of team members for each initiative.

*knowledge, skills & attributes*:
- minimum 5 years of project management experience.
- 4+ years managing cross functional teams.
- project management certification (pmp, csm etc.) or degree in project management.
- excellent experience in sdlc methodologies, agile, scrum, sdlc / waterfall.
- significant experience in information technology industries.
- operational experience in either the cro or bio-pharmaceutical industries (experience in both would be preferred).
- ability to communicate effectively to senior management teams.
- deep experience in program and project execution across multiple functional teams.
- ability to work under rapid timelines with changing priorities.
- technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint, visio), microsoft projects, jira, zendesk, servicenow, smartsheet and lucid chart.
- delivery of appropriate and effective executive level communication.
