Spa supervisor
the spa supervisor will assist the reception team in coordinating, supervising, and ensuring successful spa front operations.
key responsibilities include implementing new cleaning standards policies in spa, spa rooms, wet areas, fitness pool, and coordinating room assignments, special guest preferences with housekeeping, f&b, reservations, pbx, engineering, and other departments to maximize customer satisfaction and comply with all four seasons policies.
knowledge and skills
* 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in health club or spa
* management skills, excellent relationship building, and upward mobility potential
* strong guest contact orientation
* excellent english, math and psychometric abilities
* experience using microsoft office, opera, book4time, birchstreet and abhrilsoft
* reading, writing and oral proficiency in english
* outgoing personality and ease with customers

* actively involved in new cleaning protocols, training of therapists, standard testing and product knowledge training of all spa and sports center staff.
* ensures department is organized in accordance with company philosophy and policies, maximizing efficiency and productivity, achieving established goals and promoting harmony between all departments.
* assists the department head & spa assistant manager in motivating and developing a skilled team, leading by example and instilling a culture of continuous learning and improvement; participates in employee relations activities and programs.
* demonstrates standards awareness, sets example for standards execution, testing and implements action plans to achieve product and service goals.
* assists the department head & spa assistant manager in preparing annual plans, forecasts and managing expenses to meet departmental budgetary goals.
* represents the department head & spa assistant manager in their absence.
* maintains inventories for the spa and sports center; places purchase orders for the department accordingly.
* tracks and develops statistical reports for the spa such as turnover reports, treatment occupancy, peak periods, revenue per therapist, revenue per occupied room, number of massages per therapist, treatment statistics.
* oversees maintenance of the spa and sports center areas, develops operation manuals and implements training programs to ensure staff growth.
* manages day‑to‑day operations of the spa & health club department: trains, schedules, monitors employee performance, discipline, completes payrolls, monitors housekeeping standards and mechanical effectiveness, reports deficiencies and follows up.
* ensures all sports center equipment functions properly, maintains guest supplies, supports a healthy environment for all team members; communicates with department head and assistant spa manager.
* maintains organized administration of departmental and personnel records, including rostering and leave planning; enforces code of conduct, grooming and hygiene standards as specified in the employee handbook.
