This role will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency and productivity within the manufacturing environment. The position will focus on initiatives aimed at reducing scrap, improving cycle times, and increasing overall process stability and performance. The industrial engineer will conduct time studies, line balancing, and workflow analysis to identify waste and optimization opportunities, while also supporting the implementation and sustainability of lean manufacturing, kaizen, and 5s practices across the operation. In close collaboration with production and engineering teams, this person will help execute and follow up on improvement actions, analyze operational data to generate practical recommendations, and support the interpretation and modification of technical drawings and process-related designs using cad and solidworks. Overall, the role requires a hands-on, shop floor-oriented professional capable of driving measurable improvements through disciplined execution.
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or related.
* 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, process engineering, or continuous improvement roles within manufacturing.
* proven hands-on experience on the shop floor, implementing and sustaining process improvements.
* strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, kaizen, 5s, time studies, and line balancing.
* track record of delivering measurable improvements in areas such as scrap reduction, oee, productivity, or process performance.
* advanced english skills, both written and spoken.
* experience using cad and solidworks for interpretation and basic design modifications.
* sap knowledge is a plus.
