As hardware board design engineer intern your responsibilities are oriented to participating in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (cpus) and/or peripheral equipment.
*responsibilities include*:
- prepare specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.
- develop procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems.
- initiate, guide, and coordinate overall design and development of new ideas and products.
- develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
*qualifications*
experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
*minimum qualifications*:
- 6+ months of analog and/or digital circuits experience.
- 3+ months of computer architecture basic experience.
- intermediate english communication skills.
*preferred qualifications*:
- experience with industrial computer aided design (cad) toolset for printed circuit boards (pcb) design such as cadence, orcad, proteus or similar.
- programming skills in python and scripting.
- intel server architectures knowledge.
- digital design knowledge (vhdl/verilog).
