Responsibilities
* act as a mentor and resource for design issues
* analyze and solve complex design problems
* apply business and industry knowledge to design solutions
* lead teams to address routine technical problems
* continually improve design processes and implement innovative solutions
* participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback
* proficient in module assemblies, master models, and fea for components and assemblies
qualifications
* associate degree or equivalent preferred
* 5+ years of relevant experience
* experience with cad software (solid edge), 3d modeling, and 2d drawings
* sheet metal, plastic, and welding design experience
* knowledge of asme/iso/gd&t standards
* experience working in cross-functional teams, ideally in the medical device industry
* strong organizational and communication skills
* ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
* fluent english and spanish
