- supervise hiring, training and performance monitoring of general production supervisors.
- meet production schedule within efficiency and yields goals interfacing with support departments.
- support in security building activities.
- responsible proper material for the identification and segregation (raw material and finished product).
- elaboration of reports requested by management.
- support the company activities and projects.
- supervise the correct use of installations and equipment in the plant.
- report unsafe conditions.
- maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
- ensure that all production personnel are property trained.
- integrate efforts across the company to ensure a focused and consistent approach for optimizing and standardizing processes.
- coordinate meetings, prepare and/or edit meeting minutes and presentations.
- work with department managers to identify appropriate resources.
- mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
- drives clarity and focus in cross-group situations.
- perform special projects as requested.
experiência y requisitos
- minimum 5 years of experience as a leader in manufacturing areas in the medical, aerospace, and automotive sectors.
- experience in high volume medical device manufacturing is preferred.
- have the ability to communicate and establish professional and effective interaction with co-workers, subordinates, and all departments of the company.
- good spanish and english, written and oral communication skills.
- ability to lead, influence and set a positive example to others.
- must have independent work skills, a strong work ethic, strong leadership and the ability to handle difficult situations.
- ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations.
- ability to travel as necessary.
