Business continuity risk manager
this role is responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust business continuity incident management program across global service centers within the operations structure.
* maintain a bcim program under operating instruction, with effective implementation of framework documents on continuity, strategy of de-risking, recovery desking, bia, contingency plans, exercising, etc.
* promote business resilience by arresting concentration risk and mitigating concentration hot spots.
* raise the profile of the department by engaging with key stakeholders to understand challenges faced and anticipate emerging risks.
* establish a robust contingency plan covering all functions migrated from various companies, ensuring overall risk is minimized in the event of an incident.
* continually reassess operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating instructions, and practices.
* work as incident management lead and provide support as required.
required skills and qualifications:
* 5 years of experience in operations/it or any other risk function with at least 3 years in a business continuity incident management role.
* certification: certified business continuity professional (cbcp) or equivalent, cpbcm (certified professional in bcm) from drii, certified business continuity (cbci) or equivalent from bci.
* experience gained in the financial services industry, including experience of people and process management.
