ensure a proper execution on production planning areas by bring strategy, couching & an escalation point to production planners. Adopt a continuous improvement methodology in the area sharing knowledge, tools & experience so the team can focus on the operation.
Stablish an escalation point to improve the performance of the team.
Lead the team on a best practices culture; developing metrics and bring periodically feedback to the team.
*what you will do in your role*:
- lead production planning team by bringing tools, couching, feedback and proper and in time support.
- support operations team bringing visibility, feedback, projections of the demand and customer behavior.
- collaborate with operations team looking for improvements with from materials perspective.
- measure & leveling the workload through the team with the different customer/product/sub assy based on the skills, experience & knowledge of the team.
- forecast the headcount need it based on the new business, bu needs, internal workload.
- develop tools, share knowledge, bring proper skills that may help them to increase performance and/or automate planning process.
- point of contact for internal & external escalations.
- participate on internal & external audits; bring right & accurate information.
*the experience you will bring*:
*requirements*:
- master’s degree in administration or related field.
- planning apics certifications
- 10 years of experience (at least 3 years managing people).
- proven work experience on demand management, planning areas and leading teams.
- proven ability to use problem solving such as 5 whys, ishikawa, pdca, kaizen methodologies and lean manufacturing.
- high communications skills.
- good understanding of the supply chain.
- high skill to perform with a changing business/environment.
- focused on results.
- high ability on teamwork and leading.
- high erp usage level, process.
- proven ability on different planning environment (mts, mto, mtf, etc).
