Job description:main responsibilities include ensuring customs compliance in mexico, china, the us, and other countries.
key tasks involve submitting importer security filings to u.s. Customs in a timely manner, coordinating internal and external audits on international trade and customs compliance, creating and managing import/export documentation within the sap system, reviewing and archiving customs documentation according to fiscal and legal requirements, managing certificates of origin under trade agreements such as usmca, mercosur, cafta-dr, following up on international shipments (track & trace) ensuring on-time deliveries to regional warehouses, supporting resolution of transportation issues and freight claims, overseeing regional transportation and logistics providers evaluating performance and contractual compliance, reviewing customer and carrier portals processing transportation and customs broker invoices, generating ground transportation reports and special operations metrics for regional warehouses, participating in conferences training sessions meetings on logistics regulations and best practices, and managing the easy4pro portal for the region.required skills and qualifications:the ideal candidate will possess a university degree in business international trade or logistics, have an advanced level of english proficiency, and experience in a similar position.
additionally, knowledge of the automotive industry, sap systems, organization and time management skills, mexican customs rules and regulations, anexo 24 iva certification, and ctpat is desirable.
