*about the role*:
we are looking for a strategic and analytical professional to join our team as a*supplier development manager*.
in this role, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks within the supply chain, developing supplier strategies, and ensuring continuity and resilience in sourcing operations.
your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality products on time, while strengthening supplier performance and adaptability.
*key responsibilities*:
as a supplier development manager, you'll be responsible for:
- identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing mitigation strategies.
- leading the implementation and follow-up of risk-based sourcing initiatives.
- evaluating and developing new suppliers to ensure business continuity.
- acting as a project manager to ensure execution of supply chain risk strategies.
- monitoring and improving key supplier kpis, including capacity, dual sourcing, stocking agreements, and resilience metrics.

as a minimum you must have:
- bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in supplier management, procurement, or commodity management in a manufacturing environment.
- proven experience leading high-performing teams.
- strong negotiation and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- advanced english proficiency and availability to travel 30%-35% of the time (primarily to the u.s.).
- experience in multinational or complex manufacturing environments.
- knowledge of demand planning or scheduling.
- familiarity with digital supply chain tools and erp systems.
- exposure to quality management systems and supplier performance methodologies.
