- supervise and coordinate kitting activities including the picking, sorting, labeling, and packaging components and parts to meet production schedules.
- allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials.
- monitor and track kitting progress, identifying and addressing any bottlenecks or issues that may impact assets production or maintenance timelines.
- lead, train, and motivate the kitting team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high productivity and quality performance.
- conduct regular performance evaluations, set performance goals, and develop training plans to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
- foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- maintain accurate inventory records for engines components, parts, and materials used in kitting operations.
- implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure accurate and defect-free kitting operations.
- identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost savings within the kitting operations.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, engineering, and logistics, to implement process improvements and streamline workflows.
- leverage data and key performance indicators (kpis) to measure performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safe work practices.
