Job description
* lead the local it organization in r&d guadalajara and r&d queretaro.
* establish & maintain open communication between ba, local it, controlling, rio, and all respective plants.
* ensure implementation and compliance with aumovio-it-strategy, company targets, standards, and guidelines in the r&d mexico locations, aligned with central it and competency center management.
* harmonize requirements and interests of r&d locations in line with it strategy and standards.
* advise and promote standardization in r&d mexico.
* build and sustain staff growth and performance, promoting personal development, team motivation, and spirit.
* coordinate r&d mexico projects following continental project management standards.
* conduct hr dialogues, personnel development, coaching, and mentoring for subordinates and direct reports.
* manage collaboration and people management at all levels.
* maintain policies and procedures in accordance with aumovio.
* oversee activities, operations, resources, and projects concerning cost, capacity, time, and quality.
* manage core it services: business consulting, applications, users & workplace, cybersecurity, network, server & storage operations, data center operations.
* prioritize projects with local management coordination.
* communicate it strategy and targets, ensuring their implementation and compliance with standards.
* understand local business requirements and implement standard or local solutions as needed.
* responsible for cyber security at the location.
* support it audits (corporate, iso, oem, tisax, location reviews).
* manage local it budget, including planning, control, and forecasting.
* ensure timely financial reporting and cost control, driven by local/operational kpis.
* apply methodical experience in continuous improvement, lean, six sigma, or agile methodologies.

qualifications
* bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
* experience with manufacturing execution or production control systems.
* leadership skills.
* knowledge of os systems, it infrastructure, and shop floor technologies (mes/sap).
* cybersecurity best practices.
* experience in digital transformation (cloud, big data, smart manufacturing).
