Currently we are looking for our next:
*fixed assets analyst - north america*
*which is the main objective of this role?*
manage, analyze, record and ensure accounting information of fixed assets and capex project control, prepare and facilitate financial certificates and executive reports for business units in the usa.
Ensure compliance with pepsico policies, guarantee accurate and correct accounting of expenses. Provide the business unit (bu) with timely information and budget execution analysis for decision making. Offer a high level service to our internal and external customers.
*what will you be doing?*
- accounting for movements requested by the comptroller's office of each bu.
- process and confirm modifications to master data requested by our clients.
- support in the generation of depreciation projection reports ensuring that the figures are correct and timely delivery.
- ensure obtaining of missing invoices that protect the ownership of the company's assets.
- ensure reconciliation and integration of accounting accounts for investment, depreciation, expenses, construction in process and those related to accounting standards.
- generate financial information of the movements related to assets and projects in the month for its reporting in hfm.
- analyze information on fixed assets to internal clients.
- participate in innovation and improvement projects for the area.
- prepare information required by sox audits and certifications.
- punctual monitoring of projects to capitalize the assets acquired and mention any risk that may arise according to the policy
qualifications:
*who are we looking for?*
- bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
- at least 2 years experience working in analytical and/or control related positions
- prior experience working as an fixed assets accountant would be ideal, but not mandatory
- previous experience working in sox controls compliance roles is desirable
- systems knowledge in any of the following is a must: sap, hfm.
- proficient in microsoft office, predominantly microsoft excel (pivot tables, data analysis, and macros)
- advanced english is required
- highly organized and detail oriented
- extremely proactive individual with a go-getter attitude that is not afraid to confront and probe fellow employees
- ability to work under pressure and in stressful environments in order to adhere to strict deadlines
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills as individual will be required to interact with high-level employees, not only in mexico, but internationally as well
