- this position exists to ensures accuracy of detailed line-item forecasts by working within the work processes and timelines outlined in the demand management and si&op (sales inventory & operations planning) process flows.
executes the demand planning process and maintains the demand/forecast models in logility.
executes corporate model and develops the inventory targets based on market demands, lead time from plants, and logistics network design.
*responsibilities*:
- monitor baseline forecast against order book and customers while ensuring alignment with business guidelines
- collaborating with internal customers (i.e. Sales, marketing) to adjust forecast to reflect change
- providing analytical support such as demand/inventory analysis, modeling, data updates, new product launches, etc.
- managing relevant data such as safety stock targets, data accuracy, inventory projections, target adjustments, etc.
- managing and preparing reports related to functions of the business
- conduct inventory sweeps to improve product availability and stock in rates
- engagement in continuous improvement initiatives and other duties per business needs
- minimum qualifications-
- bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration or relative discipline with 2+ years of experience
- experience in supply chain demand planning, sales-marketing analysis and inventory
- sap, excel, ppt, sql and power bi
- proficient in microsoft excel
- written and verbal communication skills
- self-driven and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- analytical and detail oriented
- collaborative, team player
