Job Description: Human Resources Manager

Location: Guadalajara

About the role: The Human Resources Manager is charged with diligence, adherence to best practices, objective governance, and sound decision-making. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for maintaining theoretical knowledge of human resources and applying it diligently to real-world matters. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for ensuring the Company’s compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws and for maintaining the Company’s impartial fairness in all decisions and actions. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for responsiveness, workplace leadership, clear and appropriate communication, and ensuring that all matters handled by human resources meet industry and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reviews performance and behavior matters with objective and thorough review; provides guidance and recommendations to Company Management in relation to performance and behavior; and ensures that documentation and corrective action are legal, appropriate, and effective.
- Leads investigations into complaints and concerns with diligence, objectivity, and resolve.
- Coordinates with Managers across the organization to effectively minimize the Company’s risk and improve employee relations.
- Reviews the work of other Human Resources staff to ensure it is legal, compliant, and
- appropriate for the nature of the matter and considerate of Company values.
- Observes all Department and Organization policies, processes, and procedures at all times.
- Ensures that the Human Resources team's work is compliant and diligent, upholding standards, reducing risk, and delivering the best outcomes through feedback, guidance, and oversight, as requested or directed.
- Administrative and clerical duties as needed to support the position and the HR department.
- Visits Hope the Mission work sites to liaise with site managers on best practices, training, and tools; acts as an approachable contact for all site staff; and positively represents the agency.

Qualifications:

- Advanced English (C1,C2)
- Human Resources Certification, Degree, or equivalent Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR professional in a large employer environment
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce strongly desired
- Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in HR Generalist work.

Skills:

- Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate, clearly deliver messaging, and simplify complex messages.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to investigate, assess, and analyze matters thoroughly with objectivity and due diligence.
- Demonstrate application of generally accepted HR practices and principles, as well as demonstrate knowledge and practical application of employment law.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Problem-solving and strategizing capabilities
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to exercise and demonstrate discretion related to sensitive, confidential, or personal matters of colleagues, candidates, and through all aspects of acting as an agent of Human Resources.

Schedule:

- Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm onsite
- $40k
