Principal duties and responsibilities
identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to improve productivity, quality, and employee engagement. Understand the key performance indicators that support continued business growth. Manage and direct all production and quality activities to ensure a safe work environment. Responsible for creating and executing a culture of continuous improvement. Achieve daily, monthly, and annual production targets. Lead and develop a high-performance team. Adhere to yearly budget and carry out the plan to meet that budget. Responsible for assembly products that meet or exceed profit goals. Align production to forecast and reduce labor expenses, forecast, track, and escalate issues as necessary. Establish and promote a safe working environment and monitor compliance activities to support the safety program.
job requirements
* bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field
* 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment
* understanding of equipment production and systems integration
* knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvement (including but not limited to manufacturing and six sigma lean manufacturing)
* excellent technical skills in problem analysis, problem solving, and evaluation
* written and verbal communication skills
* knowledge of manufacturing, including machine performance and efficiency
* occasional international travel
