Eaton’s es amer ess division is currently seeking a quality project engineer.what you’ll dojob summarymanage, develop, implement, monitor, and maintain the quality strategy on new programs and projects related to the quality management system according to iso 9001:2015 and eaton quality system (eqms).job responsibilitiesdevelop, review, manage, approve, control, and distribute the controlled documents of the quality management system (q‑pulse), ensuring they are communicated to all departments, and following up on engineering changes for new programs.ensure that new customer requirements are communicated throughout the organization, supporting and living the quality policy and quality objectives.be responsible for the quality activities on new programs through the use of pro‑launch.participate in quality customer audits and any external audit as necessary.develop quality reports regarding the quality management system and product quality, reporting to management on performance and areas for improvement. Schedule and coordinate teams as necessary for problem‑solving processes related to quality topics such as st’s, ccr, and 8d’s.develop plans and strategies for the improvement of quality metrics (fpy, conc, ppm’s, etc.) at plant and vsm levels.promote a culture of safety and actively participate in activities aimed at improving plant working conditions.ensure teams receive necessary training to guarantee product quality and a strong quality system.verify that eqms processes are established, implemented, maintained, and continually improved, seeking continuous improvement in the qms and quality metrics.lead continuous improvement activities that can impact quality performance at plant level, such as swat teams and reduction of ado (average days open).ensure that non‑conforming products do not proceed to the next stage of the process or reach customers until deficiencies are satisfactorily corrected for new programs.
