1. Workday system ownership (regional scope)
* act as the regional point of contact (poc) for all workday-related activities across mexico and latam.
* maintain and manage employee data and records within the workday platform, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
* oversee the execution of configuration changes, system updates, and workday releases, in alignment with corporate governance and it standards.
2. Integration & technical support
* support workday/payroll system interfaces to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
* collaborate with it, payroll, and hr teams to resolve interface or data transmission issues promptly.
* monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
* 3. Compliance & governance
* ensure strict adherence to internal compliance controls and audit requirements.
* support the implementation and documentation of governance practices for employee data management and support processes.
* assist in maintaining security roles and access protocols in workday aligned with regulatory and internal policy standards.
4. Stakeholder collaboration
* partner with cross-functional teams including hr, total rewards, finance, and it to gather requirements, design solutions, and support ongoing operations.
* serve as a liaison between latam regional users and global system administrators to ensure localized support.
5. Operational support & ticket management
* support the operations team in managing zendesk tickets related to workday, ensuring timely response and resolution.
* maintain and enhance the ticket triaging and escalation model to drive operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
6. Metrics & reporting
* design and deliver high-level operational reports and dashboards to track sla adherence, ticket volume, and resolution time.
* provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve support processes and performance over time.
* identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual work through automation or system enhancements.
* stay current with workday updates and best practices to propose new features or functionalities beneficial to the region.
education:
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration or related careers.
work experience:
* at least 5 years of global hr is systems experience.
* at least 3 years of workday configuration. Mainly (hcm, reporting, advanced compensation and recruiting).
knowledge / skills / abilities
* office windows: word, excel, power point.
* ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
* well organized and self-starter.
* strong work ethical skills.
* interpersonal communication.
