responsibilities
as contracts & payables leader, the role will be accountable for supporting 8-10 analysts in the execution of accounts payable work in support of the pepsico food north america operations focused in the areas of accounts payable, vendor maintenance, contract compliance and associated reporting. The role will be responsible to provide leadership and tactical execution of the contracts & payables operations. Key partnerships with field operations, sales are critical to provide high levels of service, timely execution and follow-up. The nature of the work is proactive and must be able to alert key stakeholders quickly.
* ensure accounts payable duties are executed in compliance with internal audit (sag/sox) guidelines
* partner with key stakeholders for adherence and coordination of key business initiatives
* establish and maintain vendor partnerships to ensure quality and reliable work
* resolve any escalated customer or vendor inquiries in a professional and efficient manner
* resolve vendor maintenance billing issues and work closely with local vendor teams for resolution
* collaborate and maintain high levels of communication with all stakeholders (logistics, sales, warehouse, fleet, hq)
* utilize sap and other systems to provide strategical oversight of work order compliance and coding
* maintain various performance tracking documents including but not limited to weekly cost management reports, vendor pricing lists and kpi performance
qualifications
* advanced english
* 3-5 years of experience in contracts & payables
* 1-2 years of experience with people management
* sap experience
