*summary*:scalepex is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented sales support specialist to support one of our u.s.based energy clients in the gas and electricity sector.you'll work closely with the client's sales representatives to ensure timely handling of customer requests, accurate order processing, and smooth coordination across departments.your role is key to helping the client deliver reliable service and grow their customer base.
*key responsibilities*:- process service requests, pricing quotes, and customer orders for gas and electricity accounts.
- maintain up-to-date and accurate information in the client's crm system (e.g., salesforce or proprietary tools).
- respond to residential and commercial customer inquiries related to service plans, billing, or account status.
- coordinate with logistics, billing, and field service teams to support order fulfillment and service activation.
- monitor contract renewals and assist in outreach for customer retention efforts.
- generate daily and weekly sales activity reports, including customer conversions and pipeline status.
- assist u.s.based sales agents by managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and preparing customer materials.
*requirements*:- 2+ years in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably in the utilities or energy sector.
- strong communication skills in english (spoken and written), must.
- familiarity with crm tools (e.g., salesforce) and ms excel/google sheets.
- ability to understand utility service plans, billing structures, and regulatory guidelines (training provided).
- comfortable working u.s. business hours in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
- strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
