about the role
we are looking for a junior business intelligence analyst to join our growing business analytics team.
in this role, you will support data‑driven decision‑making by analyzing financial, operational, and market data within the remittance and global payments industry. You’ll work with diverse datasets, apply analytical techniques (including emerging ai‑driven approaches), and help deliver actionable insights that influence strategic and commercial decisions.

key responsibilities
* collect, clean, and analyze internal and external datasets (financial, operational, market data)
* identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis
* support reporting through dashboards and analyses (excel, power bi, ssms)
* contribute to forecasting, data modeling, and performance tracking
* apply basic analytics and ai‑driven techniques (trend detection, anomaly identification)
* collaborate with cross‑functional teams (finance, revenue, product, operations)
* monitor industry trends in remittances and global payments
* support improvements in data quality, processes, and documentation
requirements
* 1–3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles
* bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business/data analytics, or related field (preferred)
* strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
* advanced excel skills and good knowledge of microsoft office
* basic knowledge of sql / ssms or similar tools
* familiarity with power bi or other visualization tools
* understanding of data analysis concepts (data wrangling, visualization, basic statistics)
* interest in ai, automation, or advanced analytics
* strong communication skills (technical and non‑technical audiences)
* advanced english proficiency
nice to have
* experience with forecasting or data modeling
* exposure to ai‑assisted analytics or machine learning concepts
* interest in financial services, payments, or global markets
