this role will operationally drive and lead the implementation of innovation & non-innovation projects for pc business. Lead r&d activities for packaging and could also lead other activities related to whole r&d product development. Therefore, flexibility and versatility are also requirements in the position.
the position is based in mexico with a regional scope and will support and lead projects mainly for mexico.
what will your main responsibilities be
preparation
* drive packaging actions to deliver otif innovation portfolio, margin improvement and simplification projects.
* project networking and follow up with global & regional team
* direct contact with supply chain for a proper project deployment.
* coordinate and support tests in the factory, includes pack trials.
* manage primary and secondary packaging spe cifications, pallet pattern and any packaging tests.
* perform and evaluate stability and compatibility tests.
* run packaging materials validation tests ( i. e. Moulds components, labels, etc )
* run full product distribution tests ( i.e. Trans i t test, drop test, etc )
* specification creation for packaging.
* artwork approval
experiences & qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in engineering pref. Chemical or industrial.
* proven experience in similar position or in packaging or formula development
* m inimum 1 year in mass consumer good manufacturing company (or similar) in related positions as r&d, supply chain, quality, procurement, planning.
