*purpose*:
plans and directs overall process excellence activities. Coordinates the creation, development, design, and improvement of new products in conformance with established programs and objectives. Provides process excellence advice and assistance to other departments. This role is accountable for providing leadership to support the electrophysiology lifecycle engineering process.
Responsible for developing and implementing lean for new products enabling the j&j production system, problem solving, and manufacturing maintenance excellence principles and tools.
This position ensures the development and execution of quality work enabling effective and compliant medical device production/sustaining. In collaboration with manufacturing, quality, r&d, commercial and supply chain organizations, this role ensures the success of electrophysiology new products introduction strategies and reliable supply of high-quality products. This leader works collaboratively with johnson & johnson leaders to implement process excellence programs and new technologies to improve supply reliability, overall quality and regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, advance innovation, enhance organizational capabilities and diversity.
*you will be responsible for*:
under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and corporate johnson & johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- responsible for delivering process performance improvements around quality, product supply, and cost.
- formulate strategies as well as the necessary resource requirements, timeline and change management tools.
- collaborate and partner with stakeholders across multiple functions.
- provides guidance to the new product introduction organization in their principal responsibilities:
lean principles, metrics, jjps, six sigma, manufacturing & maintenance excellence and leadership deployment.
- responsible for developing lean and 6 sigma capabilities within the electrophysiology
manufacturing network through the development and implementation of training programs and organizational learning.
- contribute to the supply chain cost improvement program.
- support electrophysiology product portfolio partnering with r&d and npi organization.
- lead the strategic planning process. Responsible for creating and maintaining the short term and long term, strategic plan in collaboration with the new product introduction organization.
- responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.
- responsible for ensuring personnel and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- performs other duties assigned as needed.
- follows and observes all regulatory requirements (gmp's, iso, fda, internal policies) applicable to area of responsibility.
