Core responsibilities
- this position acts as a trusted business partner, delivering critical analysis and insights for the latin america business unit to influence commercial decisions. The goal is to gain alignment across the organization on the health of the business, as well as to drive focus to the most critical issues.
- evaluate commercial performance, with deep understanding of consumer sales, shipments, inventory, in-stocks and other metrics, including external data. The job holder must take an end to end perspective and identify trade offs to drive the organization to make decisions.
- act as the business insights partner, focused on the strategic business priorities. Exercise curiosity to look for growth opportunities, as well as investigate trends. Establish role as “go to” for latam performance insights and foresights.
- proactively identify gaps and opportunities and deliver clear narratives which embed performance understanding. Incorporate both internal and external takeaways in performance understanding. Strong translator of data to insights to action, gaining organization followership. Act in a data agnostic manner, seeking insights and answers regardless of source, whether internal or external.
- delivery of weekly business performance summary (bps) for mexico and brazil; and monthly bps for the latam region, incorporating drivers/restrainers and focusing not only the “what”, but also the “so what” and “what’s next”.
