we are looking for a dedicated technical support analyst to join our team at bmc software, supporting our ami cloud suite of products. This role involves troubleshooting, customer communication, and collaboration with r&d to resolve complex technical issues.
* provide technical support for bmc ami cloud products.
* communicate effectively with customers and r&d to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* manage support requests and customer expectations to ensure satisfaction.
* document all support interactions thoroughly.
* analyze and troubleshoot complex customer issues, escalating when necessary.
* respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, web, and phone support.
* install, configure, and troubleshoot bmc products, recreating issues when possible.
* gather relevant problem documentation and review product manuals and release notes.
requirements
* minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
* strong communication skills.
* knowledge of z/os and z/os storage.
* experience with tso operations.
* network troubleshooting skills.
* basic linux/unix and docker knowledge.
* basic sql and rdbms understanding.
* understanding of ssl and cloud storage/s3.
* willingness to participate in on-call support on a rotational basis.
