Job description
as a district manager aftersales, you will be responsible for providing support to gm's global dealer network with tools and equipment, technician training, and warranty administration. You will also be responsible for identifying product quality concerns and ensuring continuous improvement, effective delivery, customer retention, and profitability in service operations.
key responsibilities:
1. sales performance: achieving sales targets and maintaining market share.
2. customer retention: assisting dealers in implementing initiatives to increase customer pay business.
3. service lane optimization: focusing on processes and performance at service lane to ensure efficiency.
4. promotion and market opportunities: identifying and capitalizing on promotions and market opportunities to bring customers to service lane.
5. aftermarket initiatives: incorporating aftermarket initiatives within the overall business plan distributor.
6. parts sales: implementing and following up the 25-point inspection to increase parts sales per vehicle.
7. rim support: supporting dealers with rim to optimize and meet required targets for compliance.
8. customer engagement: promoting and including dealers in yearly marketing plans to increase customer retention.
you will work closely with dealers, managers of aftersales, and district managers of aftersales to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing plans to improve the performance of the distributor in the scorecard.
