oversee the manufacturing engineering and maintenance functions within a plant environment. Ensure that all engineering and maintenance activities align with operational goals and standards, particularly within medium/small-sized plants.

- develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize plant efficiency and equipment reliability.
- supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed safely and effectively.
- collaborate with manufacturing engineering teams to integrate maintenance activities with production schedules.
- conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment and systems to identify maintenance needs and improvements.
- manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring compliance with financial and operational objectives.
- provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance skills and performance.

*what are we looking for?*
- a university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in maintenance management or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
- excellent problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of maintenance processes and engineering principles.
- outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- proficiency in maintenance management software and engineering tools relevant to plant operations.
