Lead production supervisor
the ideal candidate for this role will lead a production team in achieving operational efficiency, quality standards, and productivity targets. This individual will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring adherence to established procedures, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
responsibilities:
* supervise the daily activities of production associates, ensuring they follow established safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity targets.
* conduct regular walk-throughs to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* manage personnel rotations, revising staff certifications on a daily basis, and updating payroll records accordingly.
* facilitate start-up meetings and oversee the execution of production programs to meet productivity and bts goals.
* direct the distribution of human resources and materials within the area, ensuring efficient goal achievement.
* supervise the provision of materials to guarantee proper handling of components and promote scrap reduction initiatives.
* develop and implement kaizen activities, saving projects, and other quality improvement initiatives to achieve established goals.
* ensure compliance with policies and procedures, adhering to adopted standards and authority matrices.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience in the automotive industry.
* minimum one year of experience in manufacturing or process engineering in production.
* automotive experience is preferred.
* mandatory training by clients (training will be programmed in the annual training plan if not completed).
* core tools or problem-solving strategies knowledge.
* medium to advanced office skills.
* basic msa knowledge and measuring tools knowledge are desired.
