Process engineer
what you’ll do:
* improve and develop the lw process.
* follow the 1 product 1 process (1p1p) strategy.
* create process documentation (swi, process parameter control, setup, pfmea).
* support site activities for autonomous manufacturing group.
* provide proper follow-up of policy deployment actions.
* process improvement & autonomous manufacturing center metrics.
* analyze variables & adjust process.
* plc knowledge.
* experience in automation with robots.
the process engineer plays a key role in the area; your experience with the lw process helps develop new projects, ensures correct launch processes, and with automation knowledge, can help reduce cycle time, increase pph, and assure product quality. You will improve pph through muda elimination and robot movement improvements, reduce scrap via data analysis, implement smed, optimize raw material costs in injection processes, develop best practices for the global team, and create process parameters for new programs and debug new part numbers.
* design, execute, test, and monitor process quality results.
* develop best practices for process improvement.
* update pfmea.
* implement process improvements to reduce scrap.
* conduct doe.
* manage new product reception (documentation, equipment).
* create ecn in manit.
* standardize engineering changes.
* establish processing requirements for designing and acquiring processing equipment (manufacturing process specification).
* develop new launch product programs, swi, and setup creation.
* troubleshoot and resolve production process/equipment issues.
* design and plan layout for materials.
* plan operation sequences and specify procedures for processing materials.
* ensure knowledge of customer-specific requirements and drawing interpretation (2d and solidworks).
* use troubleshooting tools effectively.
* perform time studies, line balancing, and ergonomics assessments.
* coordinate with departments (qc, finance, engineering, new launches, security).
* conduct tests and measurements during production to control variables.
* possess basic knowledge of mechatronics.
* provide feedback and recommendations to leadership.
* ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation compliance.
what is required:
* degree in industrial engineering, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering.
