Your Job:
As a Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead and oversee the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring optimal performance of equipment, compliance with safety and reliability standards, and implementation of effective maintenance strategies. You will play a critical role in managing resources, improving processes, and driving operational excellence to support production goals.
Our Team:
You will report to the Operations Manager and lead a dedicated team of maintenance supervisors, technicians, and staff. The team works collaboratively to maximize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and implement proactive maintenance strategies to support plant operations.
What You Will Do:
Leadership & Team Management: Direct, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, setting clear goals and expectations to align with plant objectives.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Oversee the implementation and optimization of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
Resource Allocation: Manage resources, including manpower, budget, tools, and spare parts inventory, ensuring efficient utilization to support maintenance operations.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies while driving a culture of safety and accountability.
Equipment Reliability: Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics, identifying opportunities for reliability improvements and cost savings.
Project Management: Lead maintenance-related capital projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications.
Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and maintenance best practices, incorporating tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and TPM to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Problem-Solving: Actively address equipment issues using structured methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, 5-Why, FMEA) to identify and resolve recurring problems.
Emergency Response: Ensure the team is prepared to respond effectively to emergencies, unplanned outages, or critical breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external service providers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and parts.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in maintenance operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and techniques.
Experience managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Proficiency in maintenance management systems and tools, such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Solid understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective bilingual communication skills (Advanced English).
What Will Put You Ahead:
Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
Experience with automated equipment, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
Proven track record in executing capital projects and equipment upgrades.
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for maintenance planning and tracking.
Advanced knowledge of industrial machinery, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
