purpose and objectives
* global delivery hub americas scm within sap customer engagement & adoption provides expertise in applications and technology areas to deliver amazing customer experience by bringing competence in what we do, commitment in how we deliver and character in how we lead.

expectations and tasks
* as architect business consultant for scm, you will analyze supply chain planning solutions of our global customers and present the results of your findings and recommendations to it managers and executives. You have the chance to design and optimize complex it landscapes, on which our largest customers run their businesses. Your area of responsibility will extend to deep technology root cause analysis and introduction of best practices for operations at complex process industries
* as our customers are global players and communication with our colleagues all over the world is daily business, very good english language skills are a must.
work experience
* 7+ years of sap consulting experience with hands‑on delivery of s/4hana eppds and/or apo pp/ds in live production environments
* participation in at least 4 full lifecycle implementations where you played a primary role for ppds functionality
* familiarity with sap ibp and the sap apo stack (snp, pp/ds, gatp), plus core planning concepts (mrp, mps, demand planning).
* highly desired: experience with s/4hana production planning, sap manufacturing execution (mes), sap digital manufacturing and/or sap mii.
* demonstrated experience integrating eppds with sap ibp, sap ewm, sap tm and core ecc/s/4 modules (mm, pp, sd, qm).
* abap development and debugging skills are a plus — able to read code, troubleshoot enhancements (user exits, badis) and coordinate with development teams for customizations and performance fixes.
* act as mentor and train some colleagues in our workstream
education and qualifications
* you have a bachelor degree in industrial engineering or supply chain management, or business information systems/computer.
* you are willing to travel worldwide (30%)
* ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
* you enjoy working in an international team
* you have passion for technology and architecture knowledge about other sap scm systems
