we are looking for an experienced leader who can inspire and motivate their team to achieve exceptional results. You will be responsible for:
* category strategic leadership: set high-priority goals, work with category managers on customer-oriented strategies, and deliver kpis through regular reviews and plans.
* team development: coach category managers and senior category managers on job responsibilities, develop team members' skills, provide feedback, and calibrate performance regularly.
* market visits: conduct visits with tsms (stores, commercial counters, and customers) to identify commercial customers' needs and opportunities.
* vendor relationships: visit vendors' facilities, such as factories, warehouses, offices, and laboratories, to build strong relationships and stay informed about market trends.
* key initiatives: support company-wide initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
* store support: focus on customer satisfaction, pricing deals, and other in-store activities to enhance the overall shopping experience.
required skills and qualifications
* bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
* five to seven years of operational and merchandising experience.
* microsoft office and data entry skills.
* bilingual (english/spanish).
