Who we are

originally founded in silicon valley in 1952, transpak is a global packaging and integrated logistics partner for customers with high-value, fragile, heavy, or difficult-to-ship goods. We've been a private, family owned and operated business since 1969 and are humbled by the long-term relationships with our customers in critical high-tech industries.

your role

* review all incoming engineering project requests submitted through monday.com on a real-time basis.
* assess the scope and complexity of each request and assign a complexity of classification based on project type, deliverables, product characteristics, and project description.
* identify incomplete or unclear requests and follow up with the requestor before routing to engineering.
* flag requests that require special handling — urgent customer complaints, novel designs, cross-functional coordination — and escalate as appropriate.

allocation & scheduling:

* assign triaged projects to the appropriate engineering resource based on skill set, current workload, and site capacity.
* maintain a real-time view of engineering capacity across all sites using monday.com workload tools and the weekly capacity study data.
* identify capacity constraints before they become delivery problems and proactively surface these to engineering management.
* manage the prioritization queue — balancing requested due dates, business priority, and realistic engineering capacity.

stakeholder communication:

* serve as the single point of contact for all internal scheduling inquiries from sales, program management, and operations.
* communicate realistic delivery timelines to requestors based on actual engineering capacity — not aspirational dates.
* proactively notify stakeholders of schedule changes, delays, or capacity constraints as soon as they are identified.
* conduct a regular (weekly or bi-weekly) scheduling sync with key stakeholders to review pipeline status and upcoming priorities.

pipeline & reporting:

* maintain data quality in monday.com — ensuring all active jobs have accurate status, size, assignment, and timeline information.
* produce a weekly pipeline summary for engineering management showing queue depth, capacity utilization, and any at-risk deliverables.
* track and report on key metrics including intake volume, average triage-to-assignment time, and on-time delivery rate.
* continuously improve the triage and allocation process — identifying patterns, refining size definitions, and recommending system improvements.

other:

* foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
* perform additional duties as assigned by management.

education/knowledge/skills:

required:

* 3–6 years of hands-on packaging engineering experience, including exposure to structural design, bom development, and drawing/specification production.
* demonstrated ability to read a project brief and make a reliable judgment about scope, complexity, and engineering effort required.
* strong organizational skills - comfortable managing a high volume of concurrent items without losing track of details.
* professional english proficiency - written and spoken. This role communicates daily with us-based sales, pm, and engineering leadership.
* excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* experience with project management or work management tools (monday.com, jira, asana, or similar).
* experience coordinating multiple tasks and stakeholders across departments.
* comfortable working across time zones in a distributed, global team environment.

preferred:

* familiarity with structural packaging materials including corrugated, wood, and foam systems.
* prior experience in an engineering coordination, program management, or operations role.
* exposure to capacity planning, resource management, or engineering workflow optimization.
* bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
* strong organizational, communication, time management. and project management skills.
* proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (monday.com, microsoft office, google workspace or similar).

why join us?

* opportunity to work with a global team in a dynamic and growing industry.
* professional development and career growth opportunities.

if you are passionate about optimizing engineering operations and making an impact, we encourage you to apply!
