we are seeking a senior global sourcing category manager - injection molding for water innovations to join our team in a highly collaborative and supportive environment. This role contributes to the success of the organization's global sourcing strategy, ensuring the achievement of cost efficiencies, supplier excellence, and the long-term sustainability of the supply chain. responsibilities
* lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for assigned categories to deliver cost savings, innovation, and supplier value.
* establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
* drive negotiations for high-value contracts, focusing on cost optimization, quality, delivery performance, and risk management.
* identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.
* collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies with corporate goals.
* drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements through the identification of new suppliers and innovative sourcing strategies.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field or a total of 10 years of relevant work experience (5+ years in sourcing) if no college degree.
* 5+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement; leading, developing and managing supply chain strategy and supplier base.
* experience creating category strategies to manage tariff situations in different countries.
* demonstrated experience in sourcing injection molding components, including knowledge of polymer materials, mold design, and tooling project lifecycle management.
* ability to travel as needed.
* strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier contracts while driving cost savings.
* proven ability to scope and create projects to reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce supplier risk, and increase capacity.
* collaborative communication and problem-solving skills with a willingness to share knowledge with colleagues.
* ability to foster trust and build strong interpersonal connections with leadership teams.
