Overview PDG Media is a digital marketing & revenue growth agency that has worked with some of the world’s most exciting food & beverage brands. We’re part of PDG Global, which also comprises Perfect Daily Grind and Producer & Roaster Forum – the coffee industry’s largest media & events group. We specialise in helping F&B; brands grow their revenue by delivering impactful digital marketing campaigns across a range of channels, from SEO & website design to social media & email marketing.
We’re looking for a Customer Success Manager with real technical expertise to bridge the gap between our exceptional agency operations team and our growing commercial department. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be at your best when you’re speaking to our clients, moving seamlessly from one account to another, while making sure your technical knowledge is always growing. You’ll also need to have a solid understanding of email marketing. For new prospects, our sales team will look to you as the “marketing expert” – the person who knows exactly what we can do and how we can help a client. For many of our existing clients, you’ll own the relationship for many of their email marketing campaigns, reporting regularly on performance & adjusting their audiences while also identifying areas where we can add value, and upsell.
This role is perfect for someone who can speak confidently about a range of digital marketing disciplines, with the technical knowledge to back up what they’re saying with facts. It’s also ideal for someone with a commercial brain – as there will be plenty of opportunities to earn commission based on extensions, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
Our team is predominantly remote and global, and you will be working predominantly on US East Coast time or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate with the sales team to help them close new deals
Keep existing clients informed on their campaigns, and ensure they are happy with the results
Manage client & internal email marketing campaigns via Instantly & Apollo
Join meetings with engaged prospects to serve as “the technical expert”
Speak confidently about our entire range of digital marketing products & services
Identify areas to upsell existing clients, and convert accordingly
Manage renewals and extensions for email marketing clients
Work with external agencies to constantly update our database
Monitor mailbox deliverability across our entire portfolio
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a client-facing role within a marketing agency, ideally as an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager
Minimum of 1 year of experience using a GTM/email marketing tool like Apollo, Instantly, SmartReach, Gong, or Woodpecker, with a strong understanding of how to improve metrics like reply & open rates
A track record of upselling/extending/renewing clients in an agency environment
Exceptional knowledge of other digital marketing disciplines, including SEO, social media, websites / CMS, and EDMs
A desire to constantly learn more about digital marketing – you should be constantly aware of updates & trends across the industry
Impeccable organisational & time management skills
Experience in the coffee and/or F&B; industry
Experience working in an international team
Experience in a sales / commercial role
Experience with Dripify or another automated LinkedIn marketing tool.
