Key responsabilities:
logistic strategy & planning:
coordinate persán’s logistics plan for mexico and colombia, ensuring alignment with global supply chain and with the requirements defined in each country’s rfps.
Anticipate capacity needs and scale operations as new clients, skus, and markets are incorporated in both countries.
Design growth scenarios that account for the expansion of strategic customers such as tiendas bara in mexico and tiendas ara in colombia, including adjustments in importation, warehousing, and distribution.
Ensure logistics models remain flexible and capable of adapting to different network configurations, demand fluctuations, or local regulatory changes.
Transportation & import management
oversee import operations from europe (full-container loads), including coordination with customs brokers and 3pl.
Monitor national distribution to strategic clients, ensuring compliance with delivery windows and entry policies.
Inventory & wahrehouse management
ensure 3pls in mexico and colombia comply with inventory control methodologies (fifo/fefo), batch traceability, and shelf‑life management.
Supervise stock levels, rotation, and inventory accuracy in line with established kpis.
Coordinate safety stock levels and periodic replenishment in both countries, ensuring operational continuity and preventing stockouts.
Order preparation & returns
ensure orders are assembled and labeled in accordance with customer specifications in both mexico and colombia.
Oversee return processes from the outset, ensuring full traceability, classification, and disposition in line with persan policies and local regulations.
Regulatory compliance:
identify recurring incidents and propose corrective action plans with logistics operators.
Promote the use of technological tools (wms, tms, edi) and analytical reporting to enable real‑time visibility of inventory and shipments.
Interregional coordination & reporting:
bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, international business, engineering or related fields.
+5 years of experience in international logistic role.
Experience in fmcg.
Knowledge in import, nationalization, warehousing, and distribution in mexico & colombia.
Proficiency in english (c1 or higher).
Soft skills: communication skills, negotiation skills, analytic skills, ability, active listening ability, ability to work under pressure, results oriented, capacity of innovation, problem solving ability.
