*responsabilidades*:
the leader, accounting ( cost accounting) is a key player of the plant leadership team. Contributes to all areas of plant management and provides strong financial leadership for business decisions. The cost manager is responsible for both management and financial reporting and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the plant management team and provide recommendations to improve site performance.
- responsible for month-end and year-end closing of plant finances, preparing journal entries, and working with business partners to ensure accurate finances are submitted to the group within the close deadline. Coordinate and execute the monthly and closing cost process
- prepare and deliver financial reports, including variance analyses, for project leadership.
- ppv integration, monitoring and analyzing costs of materials, freight and duties costs.
- annual physical inventory and weekly cycle inventory coordination.
- pro-actively work with plant team to reduce working capital. Focus on reducing inventory levels, bad stock provision, excess and obsolete items.
- investment feasibility analysis: coordinate the feasibility investments analysis through capex, maintaining financial control of the expected x realized, measuring potential savings that support the return on invested capital.
- establish, monitor and maintain the internal controls system that protects the company’s assets and provides the financial transactions integrity.
- coordinate and ensure the operational and financial performance, from monthly financial reports and financial analyses, ensuring that the results be directed manage by responsible.
- responsible for establishing and managing budgets for one or more departments within a functional discipline in finance such as controlling, accounting, audit.
- business partner to the plant’s general manager and the plant management in identifying efficiency improvement initiatives, cost reduction opportunities, risk analysis, interpretation of financial results and kpis.
- ensures compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
- this role requires the selected individual to be 70% on-site in the plant and 30% home office.
Requisitios:
*knowledge -* advanced knowledge of sap (co/fi/mm) and ms office (excel, ppt). English speaking and capacity to communicate to different stakeholders.
*education*-* bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration or finance.
*experience -* several years of experience in business controlling, must have worked in a international manufacturing company. Strong expertise in production controlling; experience in product costing
*skills and abilities* - excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, must have excellent organization skills, very good analytical skills.
