The consultant will be the it payments represent in governance forums, contributing to project and operational governance as required. In addition to delivery responsibilities, the consultant is expected to participate/contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, aiming to enhance system stability, operational efficiency, and service quality to meet all quality, robustness, compliance, and sustainability standards consistent within client's internal methodologies, controls, and regulatory obligations. Project management & delivery provide end-to-end project delivery service for payments related initiatives within the bsny * bow. Define, refine, and manage project scope and delivery approach, proactively identifying gaps, risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions. Perform as-is analysis and design to-be processes, ensuring alignment with business/operations objectives, architectural standards, regulatory requirements, etc. are in place across all project phases plan, coordinate, and support sit/uat, including defect management and resolution tracking. Maintain/update project plans, milestones, dependencies, and risks, preparing status reports for senior stakeholders. Prepare and complete all project governance documentation and artifacts required for gate approvals, in accordance with bsny pmo / sdlc methodology. Manage change management activities, including preparation, approval, and execution of software deployment changes, in compliance with internal procedures. Coordinate and deliver training sessions for business and operational stakeholders (if required). Execute formal handovers for operations and production support, ensuring a controlled transition to bau. Perform analysis, design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of payment-related software solutions. Act as a sme (subject matter expert) providing advanced troubleshooting for complex applications, systems, integrations, and performance issues. Lead root cause analysis for production incidents and recurring issues, defining and implementing sustainable remediation actions in collaboration with support teams (if possible). Participate in incidents, problems, and change management processes, ensuring appropriate documentation and sla adherence. Knowledge of international payments standards (iso *, swift standards) and experience working with most payment messaging formats (mt formats and xml-based payment formats and related schemas) as well as service messages associated with payment processing (acknowledgements, notifications, investigations, etc.).o ofac-related payment controls hands-on experience with payments application platforms and integration, and file transfer solutions (e.g.: egifts and related suite products: experience working in regulated financial environments, with awareness of controls, audit requirements, and operational risk. Understanding of the interaction between payments technology, compliance controls, and regulatory obligations. Generation of intraday and end-of-day accounting entries, accounting statements, reports, and reconciliation outputs understanding of dependencies between payments processing, accounting, liquidity, and reconciliation functions. Programming languages (object-oriented like java/.net (c#)) understanding: exception handling, logging, and monitoring practices. · scripting & automation: familiar with bash / shell scripting / python in linux/unix environments, powershell in windows environments and control-m for: file and message processing (xml, csv, json). Batch processing and job control. Monitoring, alerting, and log analysis.
