This role plays a key part in designing and developing firmware that integrates embedded systems with cloud, mobile, and iot technologies to deliver innovative solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about firmware development, emerging technologies, and the iot space, with the ability to contribute to impactful, next-generation products.*key responsibilities:* as an embedded software engineer, you’ll be responsible for:* developing embedded software for carrier’s equipment and refrigeration control systems* designing and implementing firmware solutions for embedded platforms* collaborating with cross-functional teams including systems, hardware, validation, and manufacturing* participating in agile software development processes* leading or supporting development projects and technical initiatives* developing prototype and test software for validation purposes* writing software specifications and test plans* participating in design reviews, code inspections, and risk analysis activities* supporting system integration and ensuring compliance with requirements* balancing responsibilities between sustaining and new product development projects*requirements* we are looking for people who are innovative, detail-oriented, and passionate about embedded systems and technology development.
