*job summary*
we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented ar/payroll specialist to join our dynamic team.
*what you’ll do*:
*accounts receivable (ar) responsibilities*:
- process customer invoices and manage accounts receivable transactions.
- monitor and reconcile aging accounts to ensure timely payments.
- follow up with clients for outstanding balances and resolve payment discrepancies.
- prepare and review ar reports for management, highlighting any outstanding or overdue payments.
- maintain accurate records of all ar transactions and ensure proper documentation.
*payroll responsibilities*:
- process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
- maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions.
- calculate and process overtime, vacation, sick leave, and other employee benefits.
- respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits.
*requirements*:
- bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable, payroll, or accounting roles.
- english proficiency both written and spoken.
- strong knowledge of payroll systems and accounting software (experience with excel and quickbooks preferred).
- familiarity with payroll taxes regulations
- excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
