we are looking for a cycle count inventory analyst.
what will you do?
the cycle counter is responsible for ensuring a high level of accuracy of inventory levels on campus by performing cycle counts daily, weekly, and quarterly, and resolving any and all discrepancies in a timely manner.
how will you do it?
* ensure the integrity of the physical count of the in-house inventory via cycle counting and other duties assigned.
* execution of the inventory cycle count per the inventory cycle count schedule.
* segregating parts with visual signs of damage or deterioration.
* documenting on specified business unit inventory cycle count work sheet the results of the count and identifying the counts that exceed their established discrepancy tolerances.
* re‑count all parts that are out of tolerance.
* ability to effectively communicate with two-way radio.
* overtime is required to meet production demands and can include saturdays and sundays when necessary.
* must be able to walk 10-12 miles a day through the plant.
what are we looking for?
* completed professional degree.
* 1+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
* proficient in ms office (word, excel, outlook) applications.
* familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
* previous experience in cycle counting highly desired.
* ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
* ability to accurately count product and convert counts into meters, feet, etc.
* ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* excellent attention to detail.
* strong analytical skills.
* intermediate english.
