job description
* design, implement and improve industrial processes to enhance efficiency, quality, safety and profitability in manufacturing.
* transform raw materials into finished products and ensure production targets and regulations are met.
main responsibilities
1. develop activities involving the production process, meeting customer requirements, and solving and analyzing process problems using statistics and techniques for understanding the process and product.
2. participate in programs to reduce variation and waste, applying continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
3. responsible for equipment and machinery-related activities to facilitate installation, modifications, etc., to achieve safety, quality, production, and cost specifications, meeting established deadlines to avoid impacting the customer.
4. modify layouts, taking into account existing or new hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical installations, as well as air, water, and drainage emissions.
5. participate in and support experimental runs to evaluate improvements and changes for the introduction of new or existing products or processes.
6. monitor the main causes of waste and downtime in the processes under your responsibility, and develop a continuous improvement plan using statistical tools.
7. manage important projects within the assigned area, fostering your ability to analyze and improve processes.
8. review and approve technical documentation generated by the team, design and develop the manufacturing process, establish, implement, and improve operating procedures.
