Purpose of the job (what you will do): the junior finance analyst will play a key role in ensuring the availability of structured and standardized financial reporting data across gp headquarters. This position will provide support to the senior financial analyst and fp&a manager, assisting the functional teams within gps headquarters. As a vital member of the gp hq fp&a team, the junior finance analyst will contribute to gps operations by preparing financial reports, supporting budget planning, and facilitating various month-end close activities. Roles & responsibilities (how you will do it): assist in preparing, maintaining, and distributing standardized financial reports support in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for leadership review ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data used in financial presentations support and seek to improve current gp hq financial decks for functional leaders in gp hq support ad hoc requests and recurring meetings related to budget and month end close activities contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data and preparing supporting schedules assist in updating financial models and forecasts based on current trends and business priorities respond to special requests from the senior financial analyst, fp&a manager, or other leadership team members support unique projects or analysis to address evolving business needs what we look for: required skills minimum 1 year of working experience in finance (internship) understanding of accounting proficiency in financial analysis tools, such as excel (pivot tables, vlookup, and advanced formulas) familiarity with enterprise resource planning (erp) systems like sap, oracle, and or hfm, onestream resilient, agile learner, organized, detail oriented, and high business ethical standard knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and forecasting techniques ability to work well as part of a team, supporting senior analysts and managers capacity to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities highly organized and able to communicate clearly in both oral and written format proficiency in both written and verbal english communication skills is required preferred skills willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, tools, and systems flexibility and eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving business needs.
