Your position
As a
EHS Team leader, you will report directly to the
Head of Safety
for the
LATAM region
andplay an integral role in the team. You will:
Ensure EHS regulatory schedule is followed in the plant.
Provide training and technical advice on safety and environmental protection
Direct and supervise the Plant's Commissions and Brigades
Operational maintenance of the ISO 14001 and 45001 in-plant system
Responsible for on-floor monitoring of ISO 14001 and 45001 system
Investigation of Accidents, Incidents, First Aid, Environmental Impacts, Non-Conformities
Compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
Weekly floor tours and audits
Follow-up of the internal health and safety system, policies, procedures, standards, legal compliance
Contractor and supplier protocols and management
Monitor and execution in the control of transport booths
Elaboration of procedures
Your profile
Responsible for design, develop, implement, and oversee the organization's environmental, health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations. Responsibilities are within the environmental health and safety function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.
Previous professional experience.
Fluent in
SPANISH
and
ENGLISH - Portuguese
is a big plus.
Familiarity with Industrial safety, risk prevention, in-plant emergencies.
Knowledge in
Ergonomics
(risk analysis).
Ability to learn quickly, understand business systems, and adapt to urgent requirements.

Education and Professional Background:
At least 8 years’ experience in Health, Safety and Environment
Education/ training in Health, Safety, and Environmental
Knowledge, Skills, and General Abilities
Technical and Core Competencies
Knowledge in SAP.
Strong verbal and
written communication, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Knowledge in
Mexican Regulatory Standards
(STPS, SEMARNAT, SSA, etc).
Knowledge and experience in
ISO 14001
and
ISO 45001
systems.
