npi manufacturing engineer manager position objective:
responsible for overseeing all npi manufacturing engineering activities to design and develop all processes required to implement new manufacturing lines for mass production processes and coordinate the transition of new products from design to manufacturing.
accountability & responsibilities
* coordinate the transition of new products to manufacturing
* implement and optimize manufacturing processes
* develop manufacturing methods and documentation
* ensure the product can be produced efficiently and in the required quality
* develop necessary tooling and fixtures to ensure specs are achieved to drawing requirements
* work closely with quality teams to maintain manufacturing standards and regulations
* support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects
* ensure compliance with industry and safety regulations
* lead and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians
* implement department objectives in order to meet all necessary requirements
* develop kpi metrics to measure objectives effectiveness
education & experience
* minimum education: bachelor's degree in engineering such as: mechanical engineer, electrical or electronical engineer, manufacturing engineer.
* 5+ years’ experience as npi manufacturing engineer.
* passionate about his/her own initiative and willingness to drive change.
* target-based and results oriented mindset working towards quick and effective solutions in an entrepreneurial style.
* strong presentation skills and the ability to translate and distill financial information into operational language and operating metrics.
* strong written and oral communication skills is a coherent and logical communicator.
* strategic thinker who is comfortable and effective working both at a strategic and tactical level and can roll up his/her sleeves and remain close to the operations.
