*position summary*:
responsible for preparing hourly and salary payroll, execute incidences.
*duties*:
- review weekly hours the system gets with the supervisors, and make any change needed.
- get approval from the managers for the overtime.
- charge the new employees into the social security.
- review payroll with finance manager for the approval before distribution.
- administration of the saving fund, conciliation with vector.
- calculate and generate employees severance payments.
- responsible of headcount reporting control (assuring veracity of personnel listings by department/account mapping)
- responsible for calculating monthly fringe and tax accruals (social security, housing tax, retirement, year end bonus, vacation, vacation premium, salaries month end accruals, profit sharing, discretionary compensation bonuses, etc)
- responsible for forecast & budget tasks concerning manning and payroll associated costs by department and with general ledger account accuracy.
- assist in calculating and filing state and federal taxes.
- responsible of the annual social security statutory external audit.
- responsible for the calculation and filing of the annual social security work risk factor.
- responsible of the annual employee income tax withheld taxes reporting.
- assist in liaison with external audit and consulting firms.
Active participation of the safety, continuos improvement and training initiatives, which include but are not limited to: a3 certification and projects, stop observations, monthly safety audits, sqdc board maintenance, upgrade and administration of kpi for the area, propose and execute cip (cost improvement projects), maintenance of lsw sheet, upgrade and maintenance of initiatives using dploy system.
*required experience*:
- minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of accounting experience and responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
- specific proficiency in the utilization of excel (master pivot tables, subtotal & filter options, able to query and manipulate data thru several functions, etc)
*preferred experience*:
excellent organizational, analytical, communication and decision making skills.
Effective interpersonal to interact with cross-functional team members.
Payroll experience. Demonstrated technical knowledge related to area of responsibility.
