Commercial controlling expert
as a commercial controlling expert, you will be responsible for ensuring full control and effective investment of resources.
evaluate the commercial and financial impact of business decisions to course correct and guarantee optimization. Ensure that all investments have the correct support, quantification, and follow the end-to-end process until concluding activities.
key responsibilities:
* ensure strict control of resources, with full visibility by channel, retail environment, and customer, including regular reporting, variance analysis, and corrective action plans.
* lead analysis to recommend and support the commercial team in managing, reducing, and optimizing resources.
* ensure accurate accrual management, monitoring balances against activity levels, and highlighting risks/opportunities.
* follow up accruals and reverses according to the trade planning.
* provide regular reporting to review credit notes versus accruals.
* validate and approve all support for new initiatives to ensure consistency between documentation and objectives.
* ensure that all settlements have proper support and customer reconciliation before approving discounts.
* monitor accounts closely in partnership with accounting and ar to guarantee proper reconciliation, compliance, and closure.
* review and calculate roi & post mortem analysis for top initiatives, to drive business learnings.
* act as guardian of trade spend governance, ensuring policies, internal controls, and audit readiness are in place, aligned with best practices.
