As a regional sales manager, you will deliver the commercial strategy in a specific region, ensuring the achievement of sales, profitability, and market share goals in the coatings segment (decorative, industrial, automotive). You will lead sales teams, manage main accounts, and coordinate actions with technical service and supply chain.
You will report to commercial manager.
*key responsibilities*
- develop and implement the regional commercial plan aligned with the national and global strategy.
- manage the sales team, including representatives, distributors, or agents.
- identify growth opportunities in target segments (industrial, automotive, and oem).
- lead negotiations with main clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
- oversee the sales pipeline, forecasts, and profitability margins.
- coordinate with marketing and the technical laboratory to develop solutions tailored to customer needs.
- monitor performance indicators (indicators): volume, margin, product mix, inventory turnover, collections.
- analyze the market and competition, proposing adjustments in pricing, portfolio, and reach strategies.
- ensure customer satisfaction through post-sale follow-up and technical support.
*qualifications*
- bachelor's degree or engineering in chemistry, industrial chemistry, materials engineering, administration, or related fields.
- at least 8 years of experience in b2b sales within the coatings, paints, or specialty chemicals sector.
- + 3 years in regional leadership positions or managing commercial teams.
- experience managing distributors and oem accounts.
- desirable knowledge of coating technologies (solvent-based, water-based, polyurethanes, epoxies.
- experience with crm systems (salesforce, dynamics, hubspot) and business analysis tools.
- margins, p&l, pricing.
- fluent english.
