Responsibilities
the fac mgmt sub region group manager is accountable for managing complex, critical, and large professional disciplinary areas within the citi realty services (crs) vision priorities and real‑estate optimization. The role leads a team of professionals and requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas and how they interact within a function to achieve business objectives.
* drive crs vision priorities and real estate optimization in the country and transformation of the supply chain through transactions, facilities management, and projects.
* oversee management of the real estate function and portfolio to ensure optimum use of space, effective use of lease contracts, and proper disposal/sub‑lease of excess or vacant space.
* evaluate industry future directions and relate to future needs and project constituents or stakeholders.
* recommend transactions to improve cost‑effectiveness and utilization of existing space, ensuring appropriate space for corporate needs at the lowest occupancy costs.
* develop innovative solutions and resolve conflict on real‑estate issues within the managed portfolio.
* manage and deliver project construction and renovation, building re‑stacking and space planning exercises within budget and on schedule.
* ensure proper management of architects, engineers, contractors, legal contracts, performance, invoice payments, and compliance with schedules.
* provide professional expertise on leasing, construction, and operational issues for citigroup/citibank buildings under crs.
* ensure effective building operation and infrastructure to support business portfolios, including quality and value to customers.
* manage the facilities management service provider and auxiliary specialized vendors and the outsourced service desk.
* manage utility consumption and collaborate with regional sustainability team for environmental best practices.
* manage occupancy‑related system requirements with the regional mis team for portfolio and metric tracking.
* interact with senior stakeholders at country level and internal support organizations such as technology, hr, and procurement.
* conduct proactive vendor management following citi procedures, including maintaining approved vendor lists, tendering, awarding, and monitoring contracts.
* maintain full responsibility for the p&l of the portfolio: establish and manage financial budgets (expense and capital), control property expense cost, and demonstrate year‑on‑year expense base reduction.
* work closely with business and crs finance planning team on allocations and direct charges.
* ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, safety, and environmental agencies and implement crs control framework (mca).
* coordinate and ensure successful periodic internal audits and assess risk when making business decisions.
* demonstrate sound ethical judgment, maintain compliance, and supervise others to create accountability.

qualifications
* 10+ years relevant experience.
* real‑estate experience, with a senior position within a corporate real‑estate organization.
* fundamental understanding of corporate real‑estate principles and proven ability to deliver sound real‑estate solutions.
* excellent communication and analytical skills.
* bachelor’s degree, with potential master’s degree.

el equipo facilities management en méxico es responsable de una cartera inmobiliaria de aproximadamente 1377 sitios de sucursales y oficinas de atención al público, centros de operaciones, oficinas corporativas y sitios patrimoniales, para lo cual se cuenta con un presupuesto anual de gastos de alrededor de $265millones de dólares. La dirección facility management (fm) reportará al director general de real estate services (res) banamex. Este rol será responsable de asegurar un destacado mantenimiento, estado de conservación, imagen y funcionamiento de toda la infraestructura física de los inmuebles que ocupa el banco para sus operaciones, cubriendo desde la limpieza diaria, acciones bau, gestión de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo, sustitución de equipos electromecánicos y ejecución de proyectos, y atención de emergencias. Quedan a su cargo también el asegurar la operación de sitios críticos y centros de datos, así como las iniciativas de sustentabilidad en el portafolio inmobiliario.
* responsabilidad de dirigir e influir en el personal involucrado en la función fm en todo méxico.
* implementar una estrategia regional de fm para el país, en apoyo al plan de negocios de res banamex.
* ejecutar las iniciativas de sustentabilidad y gestionar los indicadores clave de desempeño (kpi) de sostenibilidad.
* colaborar con los gerentes ingeniería de sistemas críticos para asegurar la implementación consistente de estrategias y proyectos.
* revisar las actividades de ingeniería gestionadas por el proveedor de fm, usando procedimientos aprobados.
* tener experiencia en continuidad del negocio (cob) y trabajar con líderes de seguridad (csis) y cob del banco.
* colaborar en la recuperación del negocio tras un incidente.
* difundir y asegurar la implementación de mejores prácticas e iniciativas de innovación en el servicio de fm.
* garantizar el cumplimiento de las políticas y procedimientos operativos de res banamex y los estándares de salud y medio ambiente.
* emplear técnicas de mejora continua para minimizar o eliminar riesgos a la salud, seguridad y ambiente.
* supervisar cumplimiento de regulaciones legales y de autoridades competentes en fm.
* verificar mantenimiento de registros e informes según requerimiento.
* supervisar otros requisitos de cumplimiento relacionados con la función de fm.
* elaborar informes *adhoc* para la dirección de res banamex.
* generar y administrar métricas de tickets levantados en temas de fm y kpis de servicio enviados semanalmente a stakeholders clave.
