this is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a sales specialist - specifiers in genlyte mexico with signify.
* this role is responsible for sales execution with a short-term and medium-term orientation.
* they can be part of a project team looking at new project opportunities and sales prospects.
* maintains close customer contact through frequent and productive sales visits. Manages customers' offer performance.
* delivers assigned financial targets.
* establishes strong customer intimacy and nurtures relationships with key customer contacts.
* during customer visits, responsible for ensuring stock availability, collecting orders, managing product range and mix, sell-in, in-store activity, demand creation activity.
* in the project business, primarily responsible for owning projects assigned by various key account managers, including s&s, vap, agriculture, and professional projects (public, o&i, r&h).
* in the distribution business, responsible for securing solid sell-out from sales outlets within a given sales territory, e.g., local wholesale branches (professional), diy stores (consumer).
* closely collaborates with relevant key account managers and cross-functional signify account teams.

the sales specialist - specifiers will focus on identifying and specifying new niches and technologies, enabling a proactive approach to market demands. By collaborating closely with key influencers, such as lighting designers, this role will initiate and develop new projects featuring our latest products and systems. This targeted engagement will enhance our market approach, fostering stronger relationships with industry influencers and positioning our brand as a leader in the lighting industry.
* bachelor's degree completed.
* 3+ years of proven experience in account/relationship management and consultative selling in a fast-paced technology industry.
* 3+ years of a strong history of quota achievement with experience presenting products & services to accounts.
* experience selling complex offerings consisting of multiple building blocks – e.g., hardware, software, servicing.
* excellent commercial listening and questioning skills, with the ability to win the right customer engagement.
* skilled in negotiations with multiple stakeholders, able to create demand for solutions through empathy and trust.
* interpersonal skills including leading cross-functional teams without formal authority.
* financial acumen and commercial savvy.
